By focusing on Engineering the Tools of Scientific Discovery, I am able to immerse myself in biomaterials studies and research, using characterization, synthesis, and testing of materials to ultimately improve the sustainability and quality of healthcare tools and techniques. In addition to being a Grand Challenges Scholar, I am a MSE Student Ambassador, the secretary of the Club Softball Team at NCSU, and a member of the Student Wolfpack Club and the Society of Women Engineers (SWE).
