Timeline – Fall Entry

  • Admissions Decision Notification: Rolling beginning April 15
  • Enrollment Confirmation Deadline: May 1 (Details)
  • Course Registration: New students beginning at NC State in the Fall 2026 semester will register for classes from home during the fall on MyPack Portal. Course registration takes place after you have completed academic advising either through online modules and/or advising meetings. Process

After you pay your Advance Enrollment Deposit, you should follow the steps below:

  1. Check your degree audit to ensure your transfer courses and credits have transferred. (Details)
  2. Complete the COE Transfer Student Information Form.
  3. After receiving notification from the College of Engineering (email) that you can do so, you should follow the advising process for your department. (Specifics for this process will be included in the email you receive.)
    • Please do not contact the College of Engineering or your department until you receive this notification.
  4. Register for courses. (Details)
