In the summer prior to fall classes, incoming students attend New Student Orientation. Orientation is a program designed to facilitate a student’s transition to college life and the start of their engineering education. The program is designed to help prepare students for the transition to NC State, including the intellectual, emotional, academic, and social challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
