Welcome to BIO 183 In Person Labs

How to find lab material for In-Person labs:

  1. Go to the Fall 2026 Lab Schedule to see which Group you are in (Group 1 or 2) and which unit is being conducted each week.
  2. The BIO 183 Labs follow a Hybrid Lab model were you will meet in person every other week with your TA and fellow students.  In the off lab week, there will be work you will need to work on alone or in groups with your lab partners.  Please pay close attention to the Spring Lab Schedule, so that you do not miss lab and lose credit in the lab part of the course or on work due during the Off Lab Weeks.
  3. Each week of the In Person labs you will need to download the current lab Unit handout/lab write up from the top of the appropriate Lab Unit.
  4. You can link to the week of lab you need below OR scroll to the top of any Lab Website page and select Laboratory Units from the red bar of menu options (found between Excused Absences and Resources).

Students should visit this website each week to review the laboratory schedule to see what you will need to do each week in lab or outside of lab in your own and/or with your lab group.  Along with your downloaded lab units, this website will provide supplementary information that will be helpful to review when working in the laboratory and completing all assignments.  The Resources links will be very useful to help you further develop your scientific research, graphing, and communication skills.

All assignments will be submitted in your Lab Moodle webpage.
