I joined the GCSP since I am passionate about discovering profound ways to innovate and explore my major with unique teams, and this program encourages me to seek new opportunities such as by being an Engineering Ambassador or a Social Innovation Fellow. With the help of this program, I have also completed three REUs, two at NC State and one at Duke University, and I am exploring in other ways how research is beneficial. I also receive the opportunity to network and become friends with other scholars who have similar goals as me, yet have their own unique identities and projects which I look forward to learning about!
